Service Description
Join us for an immersive Focaccia and Tiramisù making experience with Margherita, a native Italian tutor, and Chef Lorenzo, a professional chef from Italy. In this three-hour, hands-on masterclass, you will learn how to make authentic focaccia from scratch and discover the secrets behind a perfect tiramisù, all while practising your Italian in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The experience begins with a short introduction to the history and cultural significance of both dishes, before Chef Lorenzo guides you step by step through preparing focaccia dough, understanding proving times, and hand-stretching techniques. You will then be taken through each stage of creating a traditional tiramisù, with expert tips to help you achieve the best results. After the cooking session, you will enjoy a selection of gourmet focaccia prepared by Chef Lorenzo. Throughout the class, Margherita and Lorenzo will alternate between Italian and English, introducing useful culinary phrases so you can develop your language skills as you cook and taste. All ingredients and materials are provided, so simply bring your enthusiasm and appetite. Places are limited to ensure a small, hands-on group experience. Please note this event is for those aged 18 and over. Kindly inform us of any allergies in advance of booking.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned! If you are unable to attend a course/class or 1:1 session, please let us know as soon as possible. Refunds are not permitted, but we allow rescheduling up to 48 hours before the start time. For cultural and culinary events, cancellations or rescheduling are only possible with at least 30 days’ notice. After this period, we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling. Should the course provider need to cancel or reschedule a session or event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date.
